Steph is the clubs fearless leader! She is a jack of all trades and has her hand in everything the cub
does. Last winter she took over as president and was able to make some amazing improvements to the club.
Last year the club was able to obtain Heritage College field as its home field for games and practices.
Steph coached the senior men to a successful season and the senior women made it to their league
championship game. The junior program continues to grow and the club participated in the communities
Santa Clause parade this past December! Steph looks to continue to connect with the community and to
grow the club. We are lucky to have someone who puts so much time and effort into our club.
You can reach Steph at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ana is a key member of our senior women’s team. This year she has decided to give back to the club by taking on the role of club treasurer. As club treasurer, Ana is in charge of keeping track of the clubs funds and preparing budgets for the club. The club’s budget is reviewed each year at the AGM, so if you have any issues/questions about the budget, attend the AGM and ask away.
Being a mother to three rugby playing children, Nicole has been around the sport for quite some time. Nicole has had the opportunity to see the sport grow in the region along with her children. She joined the executive to help the club continue to grow and prosper. As secretary, Nicole is in charge of taking notes at all executive meetings and at the AGM. As registrar she is responsible with registering all club members. She is there to answer all club members’ questions with regards to registration.
Dillon is a member of our men’s senior team and our VP operations. Dillon switched his role this year from social last year to operations. As operations Dillon takes on the responsibility of sorting out all game day necessities including referees, fields, equipment, etc. He is looking forward to his responsibility of organizing club apparel (SWAG!) and equipment. He has promised to provide the gladiateurs with the newest apparel and gear. We look forward to seeing what Dillon can do in his new role.
Lisa is our fundraising and social guru! Lisa did a great job in fundraising last year, raising enough money to get the club a well needed storage shed at our field. She works tirelessly around the community to get advertisement money for the club. As social chair, Lisa helps to organize club dinners and the end of year club banquet. Last year Lisa even held the banquet at her house and cooked a delicious pig…something you don’t want to miss out on.

Having played for the Gladiateurs for several years with the senior men, Alex has a thorough understanding of how the club operates and is looking to see it expand in size during his time as recruitment chair. Alex has a lot of experience dealing with both parents and children in his profession as a school teacher. This along with his bilingualism makes him a great fit for our recruitment chair. He will look to grow the young club at the junior level which will eventually lead to senior members. As director of recruitment he will work alongside Andrew the communications director to try and get the clubs info to as many potential players as possible. Alex is new to the executive in 2017 and we believe he will be great in building this young club.
